Something on my heart today

Hey,

I know it’s been a little quiet on my end since the website launched, but I’ve still been here — building, learning, creating, and laying the foundation for what’s next.

And truthfully, I didn’t want to just pop back in with a sales email like nothing happened.

I’ve been thinking a lot about how I want to connect with you beyond the products I make. So I’m starting something simple and heartfelt: Stitched Reflections — a space for real moments, honest thoughts, and a little encouragement.

This first one is close to my heart.

Recently, I’ve been reflecting on what it means to start over — especially after loss.

And loss can look like so many things.

The end of a relationship.
A job that didn’t work out.
A shift you never saw coming.
A version of yourself you’ve outgrown.
Or the kind of loss that rearranges your entire world.

That in-between space — after something ends but before something new begins — can feel uncomfortable.

Some days you feel clear.
Some days you don’t.
Some days you’re motivated.
And some days, you’re simply doing your best to make it through.

But that counts too.

There’s no perfect way to begin again. No timeline you’re required to meet.

You just take it one day at a time — one decision at a time, one small step at a time.

And if you’re in a season where life feels uncertain, I hope you give yourself grace there.

Because God is still present in the in-between — still steady, still working.

“His mercies are new every morning; great is His faithfulness.”
— Lamentations 3:22–23

I chose this scripture because it reminds me that starting over isn’t about having everything figured out — it’s about trusting that God gives us fresh grace for each new day. Even in the in-between, He meets us with what we need.

Wherever this email finds you today, I hope it reminds you that starting over does not mean starting from nothing. Even here, something is being built — even if you can’t fully see it yet.

Until the next reflection,
Danielle
